One of the newer writers on the Arab American literary scene, Randa Jarrar uses humor in her novel, Map of Home, to tell the story of Nidali, Nidali’s Greek Egyptian mother, her Palestinian father, and Kuwaiti brother. Constantly moving homes and questioning her multiple identities, Nidali exhibits many of the internal conflicts facing Arab Americans today in the United States. Jarrar blogs frequently about politics, writing, and the Middle East. Follow her writings on her website: http://randajarrar.com/ or through Twitter (http://twitter.com/randajarrar).
